English:
Volunteers can conduct English
lessons for our children. When we
reach our maximum capacity of 120
children, with half in the morning
school and half in the afternoon
school, at least four lessons need
to be taught each day. Each class
will have 30 children and the
intensive training will enable the
children to be fluent quickly in
spoken English! |

Music,
arts and computers:
Volunteers can stay several
weeks to help organise
structured lessons in music,
arts and computers. They
train one of our staff to
take over the lessons and
bring with them the
necessary lesson plans and
other training tools. Our
childrens' ages vary from 6
to 14 years old. |

Experimental
Farm: If you have green
fingers and an interest in
growing vegetables, you may
want to help develop our
experimental farm. The
experimental farm will
explore innovative ways of
helping the farmers such as
using micro-drip irrigation
to grow crops in areas where
there is a shortage of water
or more effective ways of
making compost. |

Helping
Hands: If you feel that
you want to give several
months of your time to help
out in Hope Village Prey
Veng, you can sign up as a
helping hand. It means you
are prepared to help out in
whatever work that is needed
be! A Helping Hand should be
able to work independently
as otherwise , he becomes a
Helped hand rather than a
Helping Hand. |
