Mission Opportunities
We have opportunities for those who wish to serve the Lord in a social capacity in Cambodia, Thailand or Nepal. We have orphanages in Cambodia, Nepal and Thailand (soon) as well as a training centre in Cambodia. There are a large number of ways in which you can use your talent to serve God by helping the poorest of the poor either as a teacher, principal, course coordinator, accountant or child counselor, English or computer teacher. In Romans 12, Paul says we have different gifts which we can use to serve. He writes: 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
We do not spell out the Job Responsibilities as we want to explore more opportunities for you to serve with us in Cambodia, Thailand and Nepal. What we need is hard work, dedication and commitment for the poor deserves our best effort to help lift them out of poverty. Please email Robert at robertkee@ohf.org.sg if you have an interest in serving overseas for at least two years and can get your church or friends to support you. As a Mission Opportunity, this is not a paid position and you will have to raise your own support.
